AirMax VS2 BACKPLANE CONNECTOR SYSTEM

AirMax VS2 connectors offer a high-performance migration path for data transmission speeds up to 20Gb/s, ensuring system safety margins for typical 802.3ap performance. The connectors feature an open pin field design and leverage design features from AirMax VS and VSe for improved signal integrity and mechanical attributes. Utilizing FCI technology, they boast a shieldless design with closely coupled differential pairs for low loss and low crosstalk. AirMax VS2 connectors are mating-compatible with AirMax VS and AirMax VSe connectors, requiring no changes to existing PCB footprints. This compatibility allows for cost savings by enabling the use of legacy and new daughter cards, line cards, or blades in upgraded equipment. Right angle and vertical receptacles and headers support backplane, midplane, and coplanar applications.
